KUWAIT CITY : In a recent development from reliable sources from the Kuwait Directorate General of Civil Aviation that it has issued a directive to ground service providers at Kuwait International Airport that it is mandatory to fly either Kuwait Airways or Jazeera Airways for the arrival and departure of passengers holding a “family visit” entry visa.
According to the sources, Civil Aviation authorities have underscored that individuals with a “family visit” entry visa will not be allowed to board any other airline. It has been stated clearly that passengers arriving on airlines other than Kuwait Airways and Jazeera Airways will be denied entry and promptly returned to their originating location at the expense of the violating airline.
The rationale behind this directive is rooted in a letter received by Civil Aviation from the Ministry of Interior. The letter delineates specific protocols regarding the arrival and departure procedures for holders of a “family visit” entry visa to Kuwait.
