COLOMBO : n statement to the press, the ACJU General Secretary As Shekh Arkam Noorahmith has severely condemned the Israeli unilateral action taken against the innocent people in Gaza.
In his letter he said ” I express deep alarm and anguish over the ongoing genocide, relentless bombardment, mass starvation, and systematic destruction inflicted upon the people of Gaza. Israel’s actions not only violate international law and human decency but also expose the moral failure of the global order.
It is deeply troubling that many Muslim governments remain either passive or complicit—through silence, normalization, or inadequate response—in the face of this unfolding atrocity.
We call upon the leadership of the Muslim world—statesmen, scholars, and institutions—to rise above political expediency and act with urgency and moral clarity.
Concrete, coordinated, and courageous action is long overdue. This is not merely a matter of politics; it is a test of our collective faith, conscience, and responsibility before Allah and history.”
