COLOMBO – Hameed Al Husseinie College celebrated the Islamic New Year (Muharram) at its College Hall on July 20 Friday. It was held under the patronage of Principal of the College M.R.M. Risky.
Director of Education Muslim Schools Development Branch Ministry of Education Major N.T. Nasmutheen, Deputy Director of Education (Tamil Medium) Zonal Education Office Mrs. M.H. Mumthaz Begum, All Ceylon Jamiyathul Ulama (ACJU) General Secretary and Nooraniya Arabic College Director Ash Sheikh Arkam Nooramith graced the ceremony.
Certificates were presented to the students who took part in various contests.The guests and the Principal presented mementos to the guests at this ceremony.
