COLOMBO — Mohammad Kanzul Irfan Umair from Grandpass, Colombo will be representing Sri Lanka at the 26th International Holy Quran Memorization Competition which will be held in United Arab Emirates from 22nd of March to 4th April 2023.
Mohammad Kanzul Irfan Umair is an Al Hafil (Memorized the Holy Quran). He won third place in the Al – Quran Memorization Competition organized by the Department of Muslim Religious and Cultural Affairs year 2019/2020.
The Director of the Department of Muslim Religious and Cultural Affairs Faizal Abdeen handed over his Air Ticket at the Department recently.
The Department of Muslim Religious and Cultural Affairs congratulates him and they hope that he will win the competition and bring pride to Sri Lanka.
