DUBAI : Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) managed a win with 2 balls to spare and collect the valuable 2 points to keep positive hope of making it to the playoffs.
Dinesh Karthik hit a boundary to reach the Sun Risers Hyderabad score of 115 with only 2 balls to spare for the loss of 4 wickets. KKR middle order struggled and took a low scoring chase to the boundary after opener Shubman Gill hit 57 runs off 51 balls.
SRH earlier won the toss and decided to bat first. Wickets at regular intervals by the KKR bowlers ensured that SRH is limited to only 115 in the allotted 20 overs. Southee, Chakravarthy and Shivam Mavi got 2 wickets each and Shakibul Hasan got one wicket for KKR. For SRH Williamson scored 26 runs and Samad 25 runs.
