COLOMBO – Zahira College Colombo Islamic Society organized Interschool Meelad Day Competitions 2023 in various subjects such as Quirath, Essay, Calligraphy, Quiz, Qaseeda, Debate, Oratory and Multi Media Presentation to mark the Prophet Muhammad’s Birthday.
It was held under the patronage of Principal of the College Trizviiy Marikar. at the Professor M.T.A. Furkhan Auditorium on Saturday September 16
President of the Islamic Society Mohamed Shihaf delivered the welcome address.
Principal Trizviiy Marikar said in his speech there are 1045 competitors from 55 schools were participated in Southern, Western, Central Provinces and other Provinces. Principal thanks to Moulavi M.T. A. Ariff, Chairman Religious Committee, Board of Governors has made necessary arrangement and encouragement to conduct this competitions. Also said the winners of these competitions will receive certificates, trophies and valuable prizes.
Deputy Principal (Administration) Mohamed Shazuli, Vice Principal Co-Curricular Activates Zeenath Ismail, Islamic Society master in charge Mohamed Inham, Sectional Heads, teachers, invitees schools Islamic Societies teacher in charge, and students were present.
