RUZAIK FAROOK
COLOMBO – The “International Quds Day ” event organized by the Forum for Justice and Peace to show solidarity with the oppressed people of Palestine. It was held at Lakshman Kadirgamar Institute Colombo on Wednesday April 12 under the patronage of Attorney at Law U. L. Abdul Marzook.
The panel of speakers was Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran Hashem Ashjazadeh, Attorney at Law T.K. Aoor, , Ven. Vijitha Moragaswewa Thero, Member of Parliament Vijitha Herath and Senior Journalist Lakshman Gunasekara delivered speeches.
High Commissioner of Malaysia Badli Hisham Adam, High Commissioner of Bangladesh Tareq Md Ariful Islam, former Member of Parliament Mujibur Rahman, former Governor of Western Province Azad Sally, Cultural Counsellor of Iran Cultural Centre Dr. Bahman Moazamil, officials of the Embassy of Iran, Journalists and members of the public were also present.
