COLOMBO : External Affairs Minister (EAM) if India Dr. S. Jaishankar will visit Sri Lanka on 23 December as Special Envoy of Prime Minister and meet with the Sri Lankan leadership., a statement from the ministry in New Delhi announced on Monday, December 22.
The visit underscores India’s Neighbourhood First Policy and takes place in the context of Operation Sagar Bandhu launched to address the devastation caused by Cyclone Ditwah., the statement concluded.
