Indian diplomat Banu Prakash leaves Sri Lanka to take up an appointment as DCM in South Africa

COLOMBO : Banu Prakash, Political Counsellor at the High Commission of India in Colombo, will be leaving the island on Wednesday,March 29, following a short stint of service in Sri Lanka.

Banu, who was a popular among the Sri Lankans of all communities has been posted as Deputy High Commissioner in South Africa.

In a statement to Colombo Times, Banu said : “ I will be leaving the beautiful island Sri Lanka on Wednesday. It’s all quite sudden, I would certainly cherish the days I spent in this fair isle,I wish you all the best.”
