COLOMBO — The Girl Guides and Guide Captains of Muslim Ladies’ College, Ilma International Girls School and Khairiya Muslim Girls College jointly organized an Iftar (Ramadan break-fast) at the Girl Guide Association Headquarters Colombo recently.
Ms. Tahiyya Ismail was present as the guest speaker and students presented speeches and qaseeda (Islamic Songs) at this event.
Chief Commissioner Ms. Sulari Jayawardena, Deputy Chief Commissioner Dr. Kushantha Herath , Assistant Chief Commissioner Ms. Nirmali William, Assistant Chair of Asia Pacific Region Ms. Prarthana Liyanage, Sector Commissioners, all other past and present commissioners, guide leaders, rangers and girl guides were present.
