
MUSCAT: The second match between Bangladesh and Scotland saw a surprise outcome with Scotland grabbing the win from Bangladesh by 6 runs. Scotland batting first scored 140 runs for 9 wickets off their 20 overs. Chris greaves scored 45 runs off 28 balls. Mahedi Hasan was the pick of the bowlers for Bangladesh with 3 wickets for 19 runs (4 overs).
Chasing the modest total, Mushfiqr Rahim stabilized the Bangladesh innings wih 38 runs off 36 balls while Shakib Al Hasan scored 20 off 28 balls, after an initial set back of losing 2 wickets for 18 runs. However, Chris greaves (2 for 19 runs) performed well with the ball too to get both set batsman out stabilized. With a high required run rate Bangladesh succumbed to the Sotland bowlers and could only managed to reach 134 runs for 7 wickets, giving a way a well-deserved win to Scotland by 6 runs.
