

COLOMBO :Under the guidance of the Ministry of Health, the National Programme for Tuberculosis Control & Chest Diseases (NPTCCD) has launched a new project to raise awareness and reduce the prevalence of tuberculosis and chest-related diseases across the island.
This initiative is being carried out under the leadership of Dr. R.P. Pramitha Shanthilatha, Director of the National Programme for Tuberculosis Control & Chest Diseases, together with her dedicated team.
The All Ceylon YMMA Conference has also partnered in this national task, supporting activities in the Nuwara Eliya, Badulla, and Kandy districts.
Today, an official agreement of collaboration was signed between the NPTCCD and the All Ceylon YMMA Conference.
The signing was represented by the National General Secretary of the All Ceylon YMMA Conference, along with the Vice President and the Subcommittee Chairman on Preventing HIV, AIDS, Malaria & Tuberculosis.
