COLOMBO : Prime Minister Dinesh Gunawardena said the values of Hajj strengthen the noble values of peaceful co-existence, tolerance and harmony among the people. In his message the Prime Minister said: Islam devotees the world over celebrate Hajj festival with much religious devotion and the spirit of mutual understanding and compassion.
“The values of Hajj strengthen the noble values of peaceful co-existence, tolerance and harmony among the people.
“The Sri Lankan society is enriched with these noble values. Hence, on this important occasion of Hajj, let us reaffirm our commitment to further strengthen peaceful co-existence, friendship and brotherhood among the people,”
