
COLOMBO ; Hajj visas for Sri Lankan Pilgrims who are travelling this year(2025) are being issued well in advance from Tuesday, April 8.
The Traveller Global Pvt Ltd. has received its first Hajj visa for year 2025 successfully.”
There is a total of 12 groups merged in this Holy Journey, as per the requirement of the Saudi Government, to have a minimum of 500 pilgrims in one group.
“ Accordingly, we have fulfilled all our needs, that is the hotel arrangements in Makkah and Madinah , Transportation for our pilgrimage,” Chairman of the All Ceylon Haj Travel Operators Association and Managing Director of Traveller Global Rizmi Reyal told Colombo Times on Tuesday,April 8 .

This year marks a significant milestone in the coordination and efforts of all involved in ensuring the success of Hajj 2025. Under the leadership of Riyaz Mihular, Chairman of the Hajj Committee, and his dedicated team, alongside Nawaz, Director of MRCA, and their team, all 92 operators were able to come together to work seamlessly with the six main operators. Their collaboration was instrumental in organizing and aligning all the necessary components to ensure the success and smooth execution of the Hajj pilgrimage.
The Presidents of the All Ceylon Haj Travel Operators Association Rizmi Reyal and chairman of Hajj Tour Operators if Sri Lanka M D A Careem have extended their deepest appreciation to The ambassador r of Sri Lanka in Saudi Arabia, Ameer Ajwad, Khalid Hamoud N Alkahtani, Saudi Ambassador to Sri Lanka ,Dr. Ashroff of the Sri Lankan Consulate in Jeddah for their cooperation to pave the way for a smoother pilgrimage.
Thanks area are also due to the Minister of Buddhasasana , Religious and Cultural Affairs Professor Hiniduma Sunil Senawi for personally traveling to Jeddah and Madina to sign the Hajj Agreement with the Saudi Government which facilitated the journey.
