CHILAW- Tiny tots from the village of Kadayantholuwa in the Puttalam district, took part in a fair organized by their school on Friday, April 9.
Al-Iqra is a pre-school run by Fathima Fazeeha, who said that she believes in children’s participation in their day-to-day activities.” It was a treat to see them selling their products and taking the cash in return for the purchases,” Fazeeha told Colombo Times. Most of the items sold in the fair were the local produce from the village.
