COLOMBO : The All- Ceylon YMMA Conference founders’ day will not be held on Friday 30th April because of the current Covid 19 crisis in the country.
Members of the YMMA and Branches requested to pray for the founders of the YMMA from their homes in appreciation of their services to YMMA.
All Ceylon YMMA Conference founded on the 30th April 1950 with seventeen YMMA Branches coming under one umbrella under the distinguished leadership of Marhoom Al-Haj Dr. A. M. A. Azeez (Ceylon Civil Servant) as Founder National President with Marhoom Al-Haj M Lafir Cassim as the Founder National General Secretary.
The All Ceylon YMMA Conference is incorporated by an Act of Parliament No. 31 of 1968 and is declared as an approved charitable institution by the Ministry of Finance.The All Ceylon YMMA Conference is celebrating its 71st anniversary this year. During the course of the last 71 years it has served the Muslim community and the nation in numerous ways.
The All Ceylon YMMA Conference is presently with 142 branches in Sri Lanka having its National Headquarters at No. 63, Sri Vajiragnana Mawatha, Colombo 9.
