COLOMBO ; Mahara Magistrate Kanchana Silva Monday, August (4) ordered the continued remand of former State Minister Prasanna Ranaweera and two other suspects until August 18, in connection with an alleged land fraud case.
A decision regarding the bail application submitted to the High Court will be made on August 21.
The suspects were arrested over claims that they had fabricated documents to illegally sell a plot of government-owned land in the Kiribathgoda area.
