COLOMBO : One-time state minister of transport, U.L.M.Farook died in his hometown, Kanatotte in the Kegalle district on Friday morning, August 6.
He was the first Muslim parliamentarian who entered the legislature in 1988. His funeral took place in the evening at his native town on the same day following the health guidelines of the country
