COLOMBO :Former Minister Mervyn Silva, who was arrested by officers of the Criminal Investigation Department (CID), has been remanded until March 17.
Silva and two others were ordered remanded after being produced before the Mahara Magistrate’s Court this evening Thursday March (6).
The former Minister was arrested by the CID on Wednesday, March 5 for allegedly selling state-owned land to a private party after forging documents.
