COLOMBO ; Former Sri Lanka. President the Late Ranasinghe Premadasa was remembered on his 31st death anniversary on Wednesday, May 1.
His wife Hema and son Sajith Premadasa were present along with his family members and well-wishers were present at the commemorston ceremony at Succharita, Colombo .
The event started with religious prayers by four religious leaders and Premadasa’s son Sajith spoke about his father’s services to the people, his political activities and the good relations he had with the people.
During this ceremony, floral tributes were paid before late Premadasa’s statue by his wife , son and by former Member of Parliament Mujibur Rahman and his family members.
