COLOMBO : The Bandaranaike Memorial National Foundation has extended a financial contribution of Rs. 250 million towards national recovery efforts following the recent disaster.
The relevant cheque was handed over to Prime Minister Dr. Harini Amarasuriya by former president Chandrika Bandaranaike Kumaratunge at the Prime Minister’s Office on Monday ,December (08).
Bandaranaike is the Chairperson of the Foundation and she made the presentation of the cheque together with members of the Board of Directors.of the foundation.
