COLOMBO : Former cricketer Dhammika Niroshana, who had represented the Under-19 Sri Lanka Cricket Team in 2002, was shot dead near his house at Kandewatte, AMBALANGODA on Tuesday, July 16.
During that period, Niroshana was also the captain of the Under-19 cricket team of a leading school in the country.
Police said that the victim was shot in the head in front of his own house this Tuesday evening (16).
No information regarding the suspect or suspects has been uncovered as of yet while police investigations are still ongoing.
