COLOMBO : Ever since the news reached the people that Imran’s government was overthrown under an American conspiracy, the sea of people that came out on the streets n Pakistan reminded me of Turkey and Tahrir Square, an undergraduate in a university in Lahore Azeem Umar told Colombo Times in an interview after the former Pakistan premier walked out of the parliament recently.
“ People in other countries of the world also came out in favor of Imran and will not sit until they will make the Imran Prime Minister again. I have never seen such a huge crowd in my life, all the cities of Pakistan were protesting together,” Umar added
“ Let me make it simple! The regime change was not accepted by the people of Pakistan, Imran tried his best to share the “Secret Letter” with the opposition and other institutions but they failed to take it because it was written in the script that the “Regime should be changed at any cost, or Pakistan will have to face the consequences”.
Umar said:” The revolution has started and in the coming days, you will see that the new Prime Minister of Pakistan Shahbaz Sharif will be forced by the public to go for the elections. The people of Pakistan can go to any extent to make the early elections happen, they can give their life for the betterment of Pakistan.”
Opposition was part of the conspiracy of regime change, he said pointing out that Imran Khan shared very some evidence in which it was confirmed that a few members of the opposition party were the main culprits of this regime change. Each member was paid millions of dollars for opposing Imran Khan, and as per Imran “All the evidence is with the Intelligence Agencies”.
The reaction of the opposition was the same as the thief who has stolen a precious item but refused to accept it after getting caught red-handed, he said.
He recalled that the whole deal had a foreign hand because the letter which was received by the foreign of Pakistan was read by many high officials such as the Army chief of Pakistan, Intelligence chiefs, and government officials, along with the deputy speaker. Now the letter has been shared with the chief justice of the Pakistan supreme court. Actually, it was started after Imran Khan announced his visit to Russia last month but as per the government and Khan himself, Donald Lu who is the diplomat of the US assistant secretary of state for south and central Asia told the Pakistani diplomat Asad Muneer that “America is not happy with your visit to Russia, and the way government didn’t take the part in voting against Russia in the UN”.
