COLOMBO – The Embassy of the Republic of Turkiye and Daily Mirror had organised an awards ceremony for the Essay and Art Competitions under the theme of ” My Memorable Ramadan Experience ” held at the Maldives Cultural Centre, Colombo on Sunday April 6.
It was held under the patronage of Ambassador of the Republic of Turkiye Semih Lutfu Turgut and the Ambassador congratulated the winners of the contest.
Deputy Speaker of Parliament Dr. Rizvi Salih, High Commissioner of Islamic Republic of Pakistan Major General (R) Faheem Ul Aziz, High Commissioner of Maldives Masood Imad, First Secretary Ms. Imren Kaygısız, , Deputy Chief of Mission Ms. Merve Gozde Otlu and visiting guests from Turkiye Dr. Abdulcelil Alpkiray , Diyanet Presidency and Ahmet Gunduz, Ministry of Education of the Republic of Turkiye were distributed certificates to the students.
High Commissioner of Bangladesh Andalib Elias , Former Minister A.H.M. Fowzie, Representatives of Muslim Organization, Embassy Officials and Principals and Parents were also present.
