COLOMBO — The State of Qatar Celebrated its National Day for the Occasion of Sheikh Jassim Bin Mohamed Bin Thani founder of the State of Qatar to the rule of the country at the Sangam Hall, ITC Ratnadipa Hotel, Colombo on Tuesday December 16.
It was held under the patronage of Ali Salem Al Nuaimi, Charge d’ Affairs of the State of Qatar to Sri Lanka.
Harshana Nanayakkara Minister of Justice and National Integration ws present as chief guest.
Winners received Hotel Stay and Air Tickets Lucky Draw of the entrance from Charge d’ Affairs of the State of Qatar Ali Salem Al Nuaimi.. Chairman of the Dewatagaha Mosque Riyaaz Saleh won a return ticket to Doha issued by Qatar Airways.
Ambassadors, Ministers, Members of Parliament, Defence Secretary Air Vice Marshal Sampath Thuyacontha, Commanders of the Security Forces, Mayor of Colombo Ms. Vraie Cally Balthazaar, Members of the Business Community and Media Personnels were also present.
