NEGOMBO: Easter Sunday service was performed at the Katuwapitiya church where a bomb blast was held three years ago.
Worshippers came in hundreds to the church and showed signs of piety and dedication towards their faith.
Churches in all parts of the island conducted services in their respective places. Worshippers turned up in large numbers to offer their prayers on the auspicious day.
