COLOMBO- The Colombo Municipal Council has requested motorists Not to pay parking fees in 19 selected areas within the municipality until further notice.

Deputy Mayor of Colombo,M T M Iqbal told Colombo Times on Monday, Oct,17 that the new rule will be applicable with immediate effect until further notice.
However, Iqbal said that the parking fees are chargeable in other areas where the official parking attendants are at the site with their official badges. The authorized board from the CMC will be available on display in such places for the information of the motorists.
