COLOMBO – Justice Minister Ali Sabry said on Saturday that the people has to plan out in a constructive manner with a vision in their mission.
The minister was speaking at the launch of Mini-MBA Course for School Principals sponsored by the Zam Zam Foundation at the Mandarina Hotel in Colombo.
Addressing a packed audience, the minister said every mission should have a vision for its successful achievement. “ Don’t blame the darkness,instead, light a lamp so that people will get enlightened and would coexist peacefully in the country ,”he added. Sabry also pointed out that the country needs dynamic leaders at every level and Zam Zam Foundation has gone to the grass root level to create right leadership to develop the nation. Stressing the need for peaceful coexistence among all communities, Sabry said a country can be happy only if all communities are content and live peacefully in their own ways
The Mini-MBA Programme for Education Administrators, School Principals and Deputy/Assistant Principals will be conducted by ZamZam Foundation in throughout Sri Lanka.
It is a one year course of practical studies in Sinhala and Tamil mediums, designed with expert input. Its offered free of charge for officers selected through a competitive process together with Central Province Education Department, as a pilot project, with the aim of developing future ready leaders in Education sector.
The others who attended the event included Member of Parliament Prof. Ranjith Bandara, Director of Central Provincial Education Department Amarasiri Piyadasa, Additional Directors Mr. M. Zarudeen and Mrs Champika Mayadunne, religious leaders including Ven. Dr. Galkande Dhammananda Thero and Rev. Bishop Asiri Perera, Academics, Community & Civil Society Leaders and well-wishers graced the occasion. Chairman of Zam Zam Foundation Mufthi Yoosuff Haniffa and Senior Lecturer of Sabaragamuwa University Prof. M S M Aslam also addressed the gathering.
