COLOMBO : The Saudi government had urged Sri Lanka to finalize all Hajj dealings before March 25.
In a circular addressed to all to all registered Hajj Travel operators, the department of Muslim Religious and Cultural Affairs , it has urged Hajj operators to expedite and finalize the accommodation contracts in Makkah and Madinah, as well as transportation, on the Nusuk Masar platform at your earliest convenience.
“ The. deadline for completing these contracts is 25th Ramadan (corresponding to 25th March 2025), and there will be no extensions.”
Furthermore, it said : “we encourage you to begin issuing visas promptly to ensure their completion by 20th Shawwal.”The circular is signed by both M.S.M. Nawas , Director Department of Muslim Religious and Cultural Affairs and Reyaz Mihular,ChairmanHajj and Umrah Committee
