Cuba condemns the US direct aggression against the Islamic Iranian nuclear facilities in Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan.

HAVANA : The threat of direct aggression by the United States against the Islamic Republic of Iran, encouraged by the genocidal government of Israel, became a reality after the cowardly bombings of the nuclear facilities in Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan.
Cuba strongly condemned these serious acts, which constitute a dangerous escalation of the conflict in the Middle East and a flagrant violation of the UN Charter and international law.
The Cuban government reiterates its solidarity with the Iranian people and government.
With this irresponsible step, the United States recklessly hijacks the search for regional peace and drags humanity into a crisis of incalculable consequences.
By attacking nuclear facilities under International Atomic Energy Agency safeguards, the U.S. government also in grave violation of the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty.
Once again, we call on the United Nations General Assembly and the Security Council to exercise their primary responsibility of maintaining international peace and security. We call for a worldwide mobilization to condemn the aggression, prevent it from continuing, and act relentlessly to restore Peace, with the urgency and determination that the moment demands.
