COLOMBO : The Governor of the Eastenr Province Anuradha Yahampath has instructed to close all schools in the Trincomalee Education Zone until further notice.
The decision has been taken as a precautionary measure due to the risks of COVID virus spreading in the Eastern region.
The Governor’s media Unit said that stated that the date of re-opening of the schools would be announced later.
