KURNEGALA : Thiththawelgala Grama Niladhari Division has been declared an isolated area with immediate effect, Commander of the Army General Shavendra Silva announced on Wednesday.
This is the first lockdown reported due to Covid virus after a long spell. The health authorities warned people to be careful during the long weekend on account of the Sinhala/Tamil New Year.
This Grama Niladhari Division is located in Kumbukgete police division of Ganewatta Divisional Secretariat in Kurunegala District.
