COLOMBO : Colombo Times, the popular web portal in Sri Lanka hosted a reception in honor of Ambassador Designate to Saudi Arabia O L Ameer Ajwad at the Kingsbury Hotel in Colombo on Monday ,March 11.
The event hosted by Mohammed Rasooldeen, chief editor of Colombo Times was well attended by ambassadors from Bangladesh, Vietnam,Indonesia ,Nepal and deputy chiefs of mission of the Maldives and Malaysia .
Foreign Minister Ali Sabry joined Rasooldeen in presenting a special memento to Ajwad wishing him all well in his new assignment .
Seated on the head table were Rasooldeen, Ajwad, additional secretary at the ministry of foreign affairs U L Jouhar, Rizmy Reyal chairman of the Traveller Global and Nilrukshi De Silva vice president of the Mack Group!
