” As Sri Lankan Muslims, we strongly condemn the daily atrocities in Palestine, especially in Gaza, which is occupied by the Zionist terrorist state of Israel. Despite strong condemnation on this regard by the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights in his letter dated October 28, 2023, the United Nations has overlooked in its sight to protect the basic human rights of the people of Palestine.
And to this day, your establishment has failed to reconcile peace and security in this territory, remaining silent for a long time without any practical reason. In fact, with no internal subsidies, their lifestyles have been completely threatened, and the Gaza Strip has become a graveyard today.
No productive dialogue has been engaged to prevent these atrocities and to mitigate the sufferings of humanity and its basic needs; with an impartial peacekeeping operation to enforce the protection of children and the vulnerable lives in Palestine.
Therefore, we strongly urge you to act in accordance with the universal laws of human rights and act strongly against the evil forces of Israel, and declare them as universal perpetrators of evil to the humanity, and work towards for the benefit of the Palestinian nation and to operate with a faculty of strong force to stop this genocide in a way that will bring relief to the future generations of Palestine.”
