Citing recent incident at Anuradhapura hospital, women in the north calls for security among women medics,paramedics

MANNAR; A media conference which was conducted by the Mannar District Women Network, facilitated by MSEDO on Saturday, March15.at Mannar Town, highlighted the recent incident against lady doctor at the Anuradhapura general hospital.

This media conference was on ” ensuring justice for the victim Medical Staff and ensuring the safety and security of all women in the Nation”.

More than 30 women had participated in this media conference and expressed their anger and outrage on this gut-wrenching issue to the Honourable Prime Minister.
