NEGOMBO: Central Bank Governor Ajith Nivard Cabraal launched the Q Code payment scheme of the national Development Bank in Negombo early this week.
The governor launched the programme with a maiden payment to Thambili vendor who sold his king coconut through the payment system .
Deputy Mayor of Negombo, M A Z Farees was also present at the event launched at the Fish Market in the coastal town.=
