COLOMBO : The Board of Airline Representatives (BAR) Bade Farewell to Outgoing Qatar Airways and Cathay Pacific Country Managers
The farewell organized by the Board of Airline Representatives (BAR), to outgoing Qatar Airways Country Manager for Sri Lanka & Maldives, Jonathan Fernando, and Cathay Pacific Airlines Country Manager, M Harish Kiran.
“They were honored for their remarkable contributions to the aviation industry in Sri Lanka.” BAR Chairman, Dimuthu Tennakoon, expressed his deep appreciation for their dedication and commitment, acknowledging the pivotal roles they played during challenging times for the industry.
“Their contributions to the Board and their efforts in uplifting the Sri Lankan aviation sector have been invaluable,” remarked Tennakoon. “ Under their leadership, both Qatar Airways and Cathay Pacific navigated through difficult periods, ensuring continued service and support for Sri Lanka’s aviation landscape.”
The farewell highlighted the significant strides both managers helped the industry achieve.
The entire BAR community wished Fernando and Kiran great success in their future endeavors as they embark on new chapters in their careers.
