COLOMBO : The COVID-19 outbreak potentially affects the whole of society. The shortage of equipment and materials have been an enormous challenge for health sectors in Sri Lanka. Support and contribution is key to boost morale of health care workers and patients.

Berendina focused on COVID-19 third wave relief program in Nuwara Eliya district as a part of its ongoing response to the pandemic, where it provided Essential Equipment and Materials such as Digital Blood Pressure Monitor, Glucometer, IR Thermometers, Wheel Chairs, COVID Stethoscope, 270 inventor Refrigerators (Double Door), 7.5 kg Full Auto Washing Machine, Pulse Oximeter, Bed Sheets, Towels, Torches, Trolleys, Electric Kettle and a Microwave Oven.
They were handed over to Intermediate Care Centres (ICC) operating under the Bogawanthalawa ICC Centre at Dickoya Base Hospital and Bogawanthalawa in Ambagamuwa DS Division on 8th June 2021.
