The 74th Media Workshop of the Sri Lanka Muslim Media Forum (SLMMF) dubbed ‘ Media in the 21 st Century – Electronic and Social Media’ , will be held under patronage of Bangladesh high commissioner Tareq Mohd.Ariful Islam on Saturday July 29.at Baduriya Central College in Mawanella,
The Workshop will be chaired by SLMMF President Al-haj N M Ameen, and Principal of the School A.L. A Rahuman,
The Workshop has been organized by the Past Pupils Association of Mawanalla, Baduriya Central College, Mawanella,
More than 150 Senior and junior students will be participating in this workshop.
Dr. M.C.M. Rasimin ,Advisor of SLMMF ,Thaha Muzamil, SLMMF Media Coordinator – Javed Munawwar, and Ashraff.A.Samad, (Videographer and photographer , will be the resource personnel for the event.
The Evening Certificate Ceremony will be held at the School Auditorium Chief Guest for occasion will be the High Commissioner of Bangladesh in Sri Lanka Tarique Mohammed Ariful Islam, who award certificates to the Participants, Guest of Honour will be former Head of Islamic Studies Department of the University of Peradeniya M.I, M. Ameen
In attendance will be teachers who teach media subjects in Schools and SLMMF Members Mrs. Fara Thahir, Coordinator Ameer Hussain Expected participants also include the Forum Vice President M A M Nilam, Treasurer M M Jesmin and forum organizer Shatheek Shihan ,
During the workshop a cultural team of the Sri Lanka Broadcasting Corporation Artists Mahidias Ibrahim, Neraheem Saheed, Dickwelai Shafan, and Dickwelai Sumry also participating this events
