COLOMBO: Today, on hearing the private plaint filed by Ven. Thiniyawala Palitha Thera alleging that in 2014, USD 6.5 million had been paid to an American businessman, Imaad Shah Zuberi. Via the Central Bank of Sri Lsnka, the Colombo Fort Magistrate’s Court granted bail to both Lalith Weeratunga, former Secretary to the President and Ajith Nivard Cabraal, former Central Bank Governor.
