COLOMBO :An award ceremony recognizing participants of the Pre-Marriage Guidance Programme was successfully held on Saturday, 14th February 2026, at the Anoor Auditorium, Siyambalagaskotuwa.
The programme was organized by LifeBond Foundation in collaboration with Masjidul Jalalillah Grand Jumma Masjid, Kahatagahamada, Siyambalagaskotuwa, Kurunegala.
The event was graced by the Chief Guest, Mohammed Jakeen Mohammed Feroze, Chairman of H.R. Foundation. In his address, he emphasized the importance of proper guidance and counseling before marriage to build strong families and a morally responsible society.
The Guests of Honour included Al Haj M.R.M. Zarook, Director of LifeBond; Al Haj Moulavi S.D.M. Munawwer – Binnoory, Principal of An-Noor Arabic College; and M. L. M. Rauf, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Jalalillah Jumma Masjid, Kahatagahamada, Siyambalagaskotuwa.
Distinguished speakers highlighted the significance of pre-marriage education in strengthening mutual understanding, responsibilities, and Islamic values among couples. Certificates and awards were presented to participants who successfully completed the programme.
A large gathering of community members, religious scholars, and well-wishers attended the ceremony, making the event a meaningful and memorable occasion for the community of Siyambalagaskotuwa.
