DUBAI: Sri Lankan Skipper, Dasun Shanaka picked up the winning cheque and the Asia Cup Trophy 2022 after beating Pakistan by 23 runs short while ago.
Bhanuka Rajapaksa was adjudged the Player of the Match for his 71 runs off 45 balls which ensured Sri Lanka set a winning score of 170 runs.
Wanindu Hasaranga was the Player of the Tournament who showcased he is one of the best all rounders in T20.
Meanwhile, Sri Lankan President Ranil Wickremesinghe sent his greetings and best wishes for Sri Lankan cricket team on winning the Asia Cup 2022 and has commended Pakistan for playing well. “ The second championship for today.
