COLOMBO – In appreciation of the late M.H.M. Ashraff’s outstanding contributions as the founder of the Muslim Congress & former minister, an allocation of Rs. 25 million has been designated for the construction of an “Ashraff Memorial Museum” in the Kalmunai area, a press release from the President’s Media Division announced here on Wednesday May 15.
President Ranil Wickremesinghe has intervened to support this initiative, which aims to honour Ashraff’s legacy and service to the Muslim community in the country .
