COLOMBO : Another elderly man who was in a queue at a filling station in Kadawatha has died on Sunday. March 20,New First reported here on Sunday.
Police stated that a person who was waiting in line to get petrol had collapsed, and he died upon admission to the Ragama Hospital.
The deceased, a 70 year old man was identified as a resident of Makola area.
This is the second death reported in Sri Lanka within the past 24 hours,while queuing up for essentials.
Yesterday (19), a person who was waiting to obtain kerosene from a fuel queue in Kandy also passed away.
The funeral of the 71-year-old is scheduled for Sunday.March 20).
