Never before in history’s sight
Has our faith endured such blight
Racism, hatred—a venomous tide
Islamophobia spreading far and wide
O Cremation, O Cremation
Beneath GOTA’s cold dictation
We braved untold misery and strife
Yet rose unchained to brighter life
What crime have we perpetrated,
Mental trauma thus created
Targeting a Muslim community
Gota’s regime’s blanket atrocity
Denying sacred rites
Defying human rights
Over 300 lives laid to flame
Barbaric, heinous acts to blame
Even Hell itself will scorn
How a babe, but twenty days born,
Is cast into the raging pyre
And sets the parents’ hearts afire.
WHO advised mass burials’ embrace,
Respecting rituals, a solemn grace.
Yet no proof from science does declare
That lifeless forms spread virus in the air.
Cremation broke the Muslim’s hallowed grace
A scar too deep for time’s soft hand to erase
Memories linger, in every sigh we make
Forever engraved , till our final wake
The guilty may wander, unbound, unseen,
Yet fate shall weave its vengeance keen.
Karmic justice, relentless in its flight,
Shall haunt the schemers through endless nights.
We crave the scales of justice true,
From those who wronged, their dues are due.
May Almighty Allah’s mercy gently stream,
And bathe the victims’ souls in radiant gleam.
