RIYADH: The tragedy of losing one brother after the other within the space of just two weeks for COVID-19 is something extremely difficult to bear and especially when you are away from them in the gulf it was really heartbreaking. Seyed Faiz followed his elder brother Seyed Haad two weeks after he left this world. These two losses really devastated me. Though Haad was ailing from various complications Faiz’s end shocked many since he was perfectly alright until he walked into the hospital to obtain treatment. Sadly, he came out in a coffin to make the long journey to Qttamawadi following his brother. There is hardly a day where Faiz and I did not communicate with each other. I shudder to think now of any vacation back home without my dear brother who was also a close friend to me.
I direct my prayers to Almighty Allah for my dear brothers;
The presence of my brothers in my life was a gift to me.
Thanks for giving me Faiz, someone who looked out for me and cared for me.
Bless my brothers with the abundance of your love and mercy.
