Ambassador of Indonesia Dewi Gustina Tobing chief guest at Harcourts International School 40th Anniversary

COLOMBO — The Harcourts International School, Dehiwela  celebrated its 40^th Anniversary Celebration  at the Bishops College Auditorium, Colombo  on Wednesday January 10.

Chairman of Harcourts International School Ahamed Rheyas explained the present and past progress of the school and he thanked the old girls, teachers and parents for their contribution for the upliftment of the school.

The chief guest of the ceremony Ambassador of Indonesia in Sri Lanka Dewi Gustina Tobing said Education is very important for everyone and education has a bright future for all children. Also she said every child boy or girl deserves quality education. Every child regardless of their background can pursue his or her dreams and create a better life.  

Also the management presented tokens of appreciation to the past prefects, teachers and past principals who served the school Alma mater.

Outgoing Principal Mrs. Farzana Jabir, Deputy Principal Mrs. Aysha Abdul Cader, Director of Studies and Head of School Mrs. Minsharf Imtiaz, Head of Pre School Mrs. Faiza Haniffa , teachers, students, old girls, parents and well wishers  were present.
