COLOMBO : Amana Bank has further strengthened its people-friendly and development-focused banking footprint with the opening of its 44th Self Banking Centre (SBC) in Gintota, Galle.
With the opening of the Gintota Self Banking Centre, Amana Bank continues to reinforce its commitment towards enhancing financial inclusion by delivering accessible, convenient, and ethical banking solutions across Sri Lanka.The newly opened SBC, located at No. 283, Kurunduwatta, Gintota, Galle, offers customers 24/7 access to essential banking facilities including cash withdrawals, cash deposits, and cheque deposits, ensuring greater ease and convenience for residents, entrepreneurs, and businesses in the surrounding community. With the opening of the Gintota SBC, the Bank’s SBC footprint in the southern province expands to 2, which also includes Welgiama (Galbokka) SBC.
The opening ceremony was graced by the presence of distinguished guests including Lalani Jayamini – Chairperson, Bope Poddala Pradeshiya Sabha, Abdul Azeez – Principal of Zahira College Gintota, and Moulavi Ameer Hussain – Chief Imam of Gintota Muhyiddeen Jumma Mosque, together with local business representatives and area residents. Representing Amana Bank at the occasion were Arshad Adhnan – Assistant Vice President – Region 3, Mohamed Asmil – Head of Retail Sales & Acquisition Channels, Mohamed Imran – Manager – Offsite SBC Operations, and Champika Peiris – Branch Manager Galle Branch, along with other officials of the Bank.
