COLOMBO : The All Ceylon YMMA Conference distributed Ramadan dry rations food packs through their branches to the most needy people in various parts in the Island.
Austra Lanka Muslim Association (ALMA) in Sydney sponsored over 400 packs of most needed dry food items to the deserving people in the month of Ramadan.
ALMA is a Sri Lankan Muslim organisation serving the Muslim community in Sydney over the past 31 years. ALMA was sponsoring dry rations food packs since last four years and it was distributed through the YMMA which is a premier Muslim organisation having over 150 branches throughout the Island.
iCharity is an charitable organisation in Sydney helping and assisting the most needy people in various other countries.
For the last six years iCharity sponsored dry rations food packs to the needy in the month of Ramadan. This year 260 packs were distributed.
Jiffry Haniffa Past National President and the Representative of All Ceylon YMMA Conference in Australia thanked Rizme Cassim, President, Ubaidur Rahmaan Mahmood past President the Executive Committee members of ALMA
and also Mukeem Khan President, Sourab Khan, Maleek Jamaldeen and the members of iCharity for partnering YMMA in their distribution. Jiffry also thanked the National President Ihshan Hameed , Past President Mr K N Deen, NGS , NGT and all those who worked along with District Directors hard in executing smooth distributions
