Haji Farook was One of The Senior Old Zahirian. He Is The Brother of Marhoom M S. M. Zarook Popular Hardware Merchant in Old Moor Street.
Haji Farook joined Tabligh Jamaath in 1970. He has Visited Several Continents .From Time To Time In The Path of Allah.
Haji Farook Conducts Monthly and Yearly Programme To Tabligh Jamaath Workers Known As Karkoon.
Jamaath Brothers From various parts of the country used to come to The Luqmanjee Square Colombo Markaz in Thousands To Listen To his discourses.
He is Father of Ash Sheikh Fazil Farook and Brother in law of Professor Rizvy Sheriff.
His Janaza will leave home on the 13th Thursday November at 1. 30 p.m. for public viewing at Dehiwela Jumma Grand Mosque and burial will be soon after Asar prayers. His residence No 73/13 A, Saranankara Place, Saranankara Raod, Dehiwela.
